HealthNet cares for nearly 20,000 women each year, many of whom live at or below the federal poverty level. With your help, HealthNet hopes to overcome the cultural, social, educational and financial barriers that prevent women from getting screened and receiving life-saving treatment.

HealthNet's Childbirth Classes help moms-to-be and support persons learn more about labor and birth along with comfort measures. The group also reviews medical interventions like medicine and c-sections. The class ends with a tour of the Methodist Maternity Center. Please bring a blanket and pillow to practice breathing and relaxation.

Park in Garage 1 - you will get a parking pass in the class. Take the walkway to the main entrance of the building. You can ask for directions at the Information Desk or go straight past the Cafeteria. At the coffee shop in Rotunda Way, turn right.At the toy train station, turn left to enter the Palm Tree Atrium. Turn right and take the elevators to the third floor. Once off the elevator, turn right and go past the Patient Visitor Desk. The classroom is just behind this desk on the left (A3304) before the double doors.
