HealthNet cares for nearly 20,000 women each year, many of whom live at or below the federal poverty level. With your help, HealthNet hopes to overcome the cultural, social, educational and financial barriers that prevent women from getting screened and receiving life-saving treatment.
Various Health Centers
Like any new skill, breastfeeding takes know-how and practice. HealthNet's Breastfeeding Class covers how to place your baby, latch-on and common concerns and questions about breastfeeding. This gives you a chance to prepare and ask questions. The group is for women who have chosen to breastfeed or who are still deciding.
Register for a class at your health center visit or call 317-957-2022. Each class provides a snack, BABES coupon, and a baby item.
